Western Dairyland EOC Has Been Certified as a Family Friendly Workplace

Eau Claire, Wisconsin – Family Friendly Workplaces (FFW) announced today that Western Dairyland Economic Opportunity Council (WDEOC) has officially been certified as a Family Friendly Workplace. The certification reflects the agency’s dedication to fostering policies and practices that support employees and their families.

“At Western Dairyland, our mission is to support families and communities through a wide range of programs that promote stability, opportunity, and long-term success. This certification affirms our commitment to being a family-friendly employer,” said Anna Cardarella, CEO of WDEOC. “When our staff feel supported at work and at home, they are better able to serve families and communities across our region. It’s both an honor and a responsibility to continue fostering an environment where families can thrive.”

As part of the certification process, FFW conducts a thorough review of the employer’s human resources policies and practices, awarding points for policies and practices that support families. WDEOC can now use the FFW logo and certification in its recruitment and retention efforts.

“We’re proud to certify Western Dairyland EOC as a Family Friendly Workplace,” said Neil Kline, Executive Director of Family Friendly Workplaces. “Their work across our shared service areas strongly aligns with our mission, and we deeply value the impact we’re able to create together.”

Western Dairyland’s certification represents an important step in FFW’s statewide expansion. Within Western Dairyland, the Child Care Partnership program will be a key partner in advancing this work with Family Friendly Workplaces and engaging local employers.
